How to measure
Split an irregular room into rectangles and calculate each section. Increase the waste allowance for diagonal layouts.
How the estimate works
Length × width × (1 + waste %) ÷ coverage per box, rounded up.
A worked example
A 12 × 10 ft floor with 10% waste needs 132 sq ft. At 20 sq ft per box, buy 7 boxes.
Before you buy
Use the coverage printed on the box. Underlay, trim, adhesive and installation are not included. Default values are illustrative starting points. Check the label and adjust them to your product.
